Measures
The LAA is the delivery plan for the Susatinable Community Strategy, and on this page you can see what our performance measures are.
Please use this link to access information on the performance targets in the 'old style' Local Area Agreement. This on-line document includes links that allow you to access more information on data audit sheets, delivery plans and Sector Board action plans. (Over time this document will be updated to show the revised targets from the 'new style' LAA.)
You can also see how the LAA measures are being used and developed to support the delivery of the Sustainable Community Strategy by looking at the Executive Summary at the bottom of this page.
- Some of our performance measures are 'mandatory'; the Government has a number of its own priorities that it expects local areas to adopt and these are therefore required in all LAAs.
- As well as these national, mandatory performance measures, we also have some that are mandatory because we get a specific government grant to deliver certain specific outcomes.
- Most of our performance measures however are 'local' measures - measures that we have chosen to help us improve our performance. We can review and update these every year as part of the annual LAA Refresh process.
- For a small number of our LAA measures we have agreed 'stretch targets'. These targets reflect our key priorities and relate to areas where we want to significantly improve our performance. If we achieve our stretch targets, we will receive a performance reward grant from the Government. These measures and targets cannot be changed during the period of the LAA.
